Instalation & when to use / does my engine require flash lube?
The following statement is taken from the flash lube website which can be accessed by following this link FLASH LUBE EUROPE, please bare in mind that they would ofcourse like everyone to use flashlube! But it has to be said that flashlube does work also more and more installers are fitting it as part of the standard conversion.
Does every vehicle need it? In my opion, no. But it's not an expensive product, so I would say, if in doubt, fit it!
Certainly any vehicle known to have soft valve seats, or designed to run on leaded fuel should have the system installed.
I run a Chevrolet Blazer with a 4.3ltr V6 vortek engine, I have never heard it said that this engine requires flashlube, but I like it and I have every intention of keeping it for some time to come, so I have fitted a lube system for my own peace of mind.

The point of these pictures is to show that the Flashlube should enter the inlet manifold just after the throttle butterfly to ensure an even distribution of oil over all of the cylinders.
